If you’re passionate about supporting New Orleans’ public schools, students, and educators, and you’re drawn to NSNO’s approach to this work, we’d love to partner with you.
We also encourage you to partner with our city’s schools and district directly. If you’re a parent, your child’s school may have specific and meaningful ways that you can get involved, from classroom visits, to read-alouds, to special events. Schools also often look to alumni and neighbors to pitch in as tutors, show up at sports events and plays, and donate when they can. This all matters deeply. Our children need to know we’re all behind them.
There are also many ways to get involved with NSNO specifically.

Spread the Word About Our Schools, Our Students, and Our Efforts
Too often, the narrative around New Orleans’ public schools and students is negative. Students themselves are pushing back against this, and we are, too. We know that there’s incredible work being done in our classrooms, and our children are making great progress. We want to celebrate them and tell their stories.

We’re also currently seeking teacher-influencers to support as they spread the word about their classroom, their students, and their dreams for our city’s children.
