Let’s Celebrate Excellent Teachers

NSNO’s New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Awards (NOETA) Gala will take place on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. Join us for an evening of celebration as we recognize and honor our top New Orleans educators! The New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Awards Gala will bring together New Orleans civic, community, and education leaders to recognize the remarkable achievements of the city’s top educators and will feature a silent auction, an open bar and live entertainment from The Soul Rebels and Tonya Boyd-Cannon.

You Can Make a Difference in a Classroom

The New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Award is a recognition bestowed upon one Teacher of the Year from each New Orleans public school and includes a $1,000 Classroom Excellence Grant! Your support will make a direct impact in the classroom, elevate a career in education, and show that, in New Orleans, we value our teachers!

Funds raised by the NOETA Gala will put $100,000 directly into classrooms across New Orleans!
