As New Orleans schools reopen after Hurricane Ida, some students scramble for COVID tests

Across the city, most schools will be reopened by September 22. Some schools are requiring a negative COVID-19 test before students can return to class. NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS) “strongly encouraged” it, and offered sites around the city for students and families to get tested, as did many schools and networks.
