OPSB Runoff Elections This Saturday, December 5th

Residents of Districts 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 Will Vote on School Board Members

This Saturday, December 5th, is Election Day in New Orleans. A number of important local positions and issues are up for a vote, including many seats for the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB). This role has an enormous impact on the lives of our children and educators.

Patrick Dobard, CEO of New Schools for New Orleans (NSNO), had conversations with all of the OPSB candidates over the course of the fall. You can access archived conversations here.

Here are the candidates up for election this Saturday:

DISTRICT 2

There will be a runoff for District 2 between:

Ethan Ashley (Democrat, incumbent) and
Chanel M. Payne (Democrat).

There will be a runoff for District 4 between:

Leslie Ellison (Democrat, incumbent) and
Jancarlo “J.C.” Romero (Democrat).

Katherine Baudouin (Democrat) and
Antoinette Williams (Democrat).
